Most teams get this wrong by pointing agents at infrastructure with raw API access and hoping for the best. That's gambling. Guardrails that encode how your infrastructure works make agents predictable: deterministic output from a probabilistic system. Those same guardrails capture critical knowledge, reducing bus factor to zero. Real demos, real infrastructure, real failures. Agents handle the toil. SREs focus on work that actually needs a human.
